1973 Gibson The Ripper, natural. Made in USA, serial number 183014. This bass is all original, except for the period correct knobs. It's one of the very earliest Rippers with the short-lived (and cracked) single ply faux tortoise shell pickguard and the etched two-ply truss rod cover. The one legible pot code reads 137734X. It shows a lot of wear and had some seam separation. It's a real ripper in any aspect! Weighs 4.15kg.
