1982 Fender Stratocaster American Vintage '62 Reissue, fiesta red. Made in USA, serial number L10978. This guitar is mostly original, but features a few modifications that were made over the years, most evidently the '63 replica serial number. It has replaced pots and pickguard, also one tremolo spring appears to be non original. The top of the body was oversprayed with a thin nitro clearcoat (lots of weatherchecking) to protect the pin-up decal. The B-string polepieces of all three pickups were pushed out at one point. The bridge pickup was rewound with a little extra output. This is a rare Fullerton Reissue era custom color Strat with a striking shade of fiesta red (less orange than many others we've seen) and with a neck to die for - check out that subtle flame! Comes with a worn but later Fender tweed hardshell case. Weighs 3.5kg.
