1969 Fender Stratocaster, red fox. Made in USA, serial number 252352. This guitar was originally olympic white (traces still well visible under pickguard and in the tremolo cavity) and refinished a long time ago in a shade that's only seen on 1960s Epiphone solidbody guitars: red fox (and very rare even on those). The contours were slightly oversanded in the refinish process. The guitar was heavily played for decades and as such, many parts were replaced over the years, including a refret, a later 1970s grey bottom bridge pickup, all pots, 5-way switch, bridge saddles and tremolo arm. There are slightly enlarged holes in the bridge plate and filled holes underneath and on the headstock from a 1980s attempt at 'tuning stability'. The guitar is freshly setup with 10-46 strings, the tremolo floats beautifuly. A fresh fret level, perfectly balanced pickups and a surprisingly big and very comfortable neck profile make this guitar a true joy to play and listen to. Comes with a vintage, black tolex hardshell case (plastic tremolo backplate in the case). Weighs 3.45kg.
